Radio Pakistan gave the country a great honor by sharing the first position in the world radio competition of 2019 in Paris, France.
The game was organized by the European Digital Audio Radio Show and Paris in conjunction with UNESCO in connection with World Radio Day 2019, a press release issued on Thursday.
Radio stations from around the world have also been invited to participate in the game.

Radio Pakistan shared first place with Children International Youth Reporters Zambia. The BIRSt Radio-Bournemouth University of the United Kingdom took second place in the match.
The program “Rabtta” produced and broadcast by the Islamabad Radio Pakistan station on the issue of World War I Radio Day “Radio: A vehicle for dialogue, tolerance and peace” was presented in the contest as a result.
Secretary of Information and Broadcasting and the Director General of Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation, Shafqat Jalil congratulated the Director of Radio Station Islamabad Pakistan, Mohammed Fiaz Kiani, and the entire production team for winning the international competition.
He expressed the confidence that Radio Pakistan’s professionals will continue to work with the same commitment and spirit to enhance the image of the organization at national and international level.
The award-winning producer was Riffat Qayyum, while producers Afraz Shahid Khan and Ali Farooqi Jarullah were members of the production team. Amina Saleem Siddiqui hosted the program.
