HEC Provide job quota for unemployed PhD holders: At a meeting held on Thursday, all universities across the country reviewed Ph.D Scolar CVs which is on Higher Education Commission website.

At a meeting held on Thursday, all universities across the country reviewed Ph.D Scolar CVs which is on Higher Education Commission website.

The meeting is organized to improve the work quota for unemployed PhD holders.

According to the sources Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University decided to host 22 PhDs of 105 CVs in relevant fields.

Based on this meeting, the president of the head of department, Dr. Tariq Banuri, a meeting organized to invite all coordinators of relevant HEC programs to review the recommendations of unemployed doctors’ representatives.

The only obligation that title holders have to comply with is that they should liaise with a university in an honorary way to apply for a scholarship.

The HEC has already collected data on unemployed doctors. The deadline of 31 January was established by the HEC to launch a Portal of Academic Jobs.

Similar decisions are likely to follow as other universities complete their recruitment formalities.
