The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) invests an emergency meeting of the Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir on 26 February.
ICO investing in an Emergency Meeting on Kashmir at the Request of Pakistan
The meeting was invested at the request of Pakistan. The OIC Secretariat has announced a “urgent” notice to members of the group, who called the meeting at 11am on Tuesday.
The group will be held at the level of permanent representatives, revealed reporting. Reportedly, the meeting actions taken by India in occupied Kashmir after the attack on the security forces in Pulwama district in Kashmir will be discussed.
In addition, the contact group meeting will be held before the 46th session of the OIC Foreign Ministers Council scheduled for 1 and 2 March in Abu Dhabi.
In particular, the Foreign Minister of India, Sushma Swaraj, was also invited to speak at the OIC meeting of foreign ministers meeting. This is a rare incident in which foreign ministers are likely to face Pakistan and India.
The OIC is known as the “collective voice of the Muslim world” in order to protect the interests of the Muslim world while promoting international peace and harmony between different people of the world.
