The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has approved the establishment of a 45-storey building at the Finance and Commerce Center in Johar Town.

The 500-meter-high building will be built on an area of 5.5 hectares and will include a hotel built by an international chain. The hotel will consist of 45 floors, including three cellars.
The Transport and Transport Planning Agency and the Environmental Protection Agency have already issued a Confirmation Certificate (CON) for the construction of this building.
Syed Akhter Nadeem Meer, director of planning of LDA, and additional director general of housing, Zarif Iqbal Satti, approved the plan representatives of the Orient Group, which is the financier and builder of the project.
LDA has asked the district administration and the rescue 1122 makes special arrangements for the area and is prepared to deal with emergencies such as fire incidents and similar incidents.
LDA’s director general, Amna Imran Khan, also asked private housing companies in Lahore to allocate land to the Naya Pakistan Housing Program.
“The apartments will be built in skyscrapers with mortgage financing under the Naya Pakistan housing program,” DG LDA said. The authorities have decided to organize a seminar next month, in which to propose proposals for private housing plans.
