Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad praised the strength of the Pakistani army and the effectiveness of the JF-17 Thunderplanes of Pakistani Air Force.
Malaysia Will Buy Two JF-17 Fighter Jets for Testing & Evaluation
After an interview after his visit to Pakistan, Mohammad said, “I know how strong the Pakistan army is, if you fight against them, your nose will bloom.”
The Malaysian premier was the main guest at the Pakistan Day Parade and JF-17 Thunder jets were shown at the event. In this regard, the prime minister said: “They [Pakistan] were able to build aircraft now that they were demonstrated, they did very well.”
In addition, he added that Malaysia would initially get one or two plans for evaluation and testing. “I knew Pakistan wants us to sell their planes, so we said they will give us one or two planes so we can see how strong they are,” the prime minister said.
Mahathir Mohammad received information about the JF-17 thunderplanes at the Nur Khan airbase before leaving the country when his three-day trip was March 23.
