The High Court of Pakistan (SCP) has recovered all taxes on mobile cards from Thursday. The trial of former Pakistani High Court, Saqib Nisar, returned last year.
Previously, the government levied heavy tax on prepaid cards, but the ex-CJP ordered them not to charge a cent in the charge and credits of mobile devices.
Pakistanis Show Mixed Social Network Responses to Mobile Tax Recovery
The last verdict will now mean that we have to pay nearly Rs. 40 in every 100 rupees to prepaid telecommunications companies.
The previous decision received a great recognition from the masses, but the last verdict, however, generated much debate in social networks.
That’s what people say:
A pro elites judgement by the Supreme Court to restore taxes on mobile phone usage with sheer disregard of the common man interests. This is sad.
