PM Imran Khan Desperate for Money in Saudi Arabia: Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived Tuesday in Saudi Arabia on a two-day visit if Pakistan desperately attempts foreign aid from Saudi Arabia.

It is his second trip to the Kingdom since he came to power in August. He was received by the Governor of Medina, Prince Faisal. The Prime Minister was accompanied by the Minister of Finance, Asad Umar, Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi Foreign Minister of Information, Fawad Chaudhry, and Trade Advisor, Abdur Razzaq Dawood.

Before leaving, the prime minister told the Independent that the country is desperate for money. “If we do not get loans from friendly countries, IMF does not really have the currency to pay our debts or to pay for our imports, so unless we get loans or investments from abroad, we’ll have real trouble,” said he said
Imran Khan will attend the future Investment Initiative in Riyadh, widely bred by the international business community following the assassination of journalists Jamal Khashoggi Arabia in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.

But even the “shocking” killing of Khashoggi is not enough to prevent the prime minister from investing. “What happened in Turkey is simply shocking, what can I say? It surprised us all,” he said. “But the reason I have to make use of this opportunity is because we are 210 million people and we have the worst debt crisis in our history.”
In addition to attending the conference, also meets Saudi King Salman Shah and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.

Will there be doubt about Khashoggi’s murder in his meeting with the crown prince? “I will probably meet with the Crown Prince Mohammad during the conference. The question has been raised in many forums, and I think the Saudi government will have to get answers to what happened. They said they killed him in a battle, a fight, that’s what I heard, “he said.
