Saudi Arabia:Largest number of Umrah pilgrims come from Pakistan

The largest number of Umrah pilgrims come from Pakistan, reports the kingdom’s authorities has already issued 776,326 Umrah visas in 2018.

According to details, the Saudi government issued a total of 3,486,363 Umrah visas, of which a large number of visa holders were Pakistani.


Indonesia ranks second on the list with 508180 visas, while India is third with 343396.

The other countries include Yemen (170,016), Malaysia (163,202), Egypt (147,545), Turkey (116,081) Algeria (106,358) and Bangladesh (7513).


The data shared by the Saudi authorities indicates that 3,020,686 pilgrims have so far arrived in the Kingdom. There are still 467,017 pilgrims in the Kingdom, with 326,440 and 140,577 in Makkah Madinah.


The data show that a large number of pilgrims, 2,680,863, arrived with air. A total of 317,948 enrolled by country and 21,875 came to sea.


Similarly, Pakistan was one of the first countries to obtain the largest number of Hajj pilgrims’ visas. During the past two years, only Indonesia received more Hajj visas than Pakistan.


According to government figures, more than 184,000 Pakistani strangers to you 5000 more than last year, staged their Hajj in 2019.
