Pakistan’s latest teenage sensation, Shaheen Shah Afridi, also squandered beans in its inclusion in PSL 3 and how its franchise helped him to have confidence in critical situations.

The 18-year-old said while talking to a local television station.

When I came to PSL, I was a fresh graduate from U19 team. It was a new experience for me to play against top cricketers and in this scenario, Lahore Qalandars gave me confidence which will always remain with me.

Shaheen revealed that he was disappointed with his performance during the first PSL 3 games and went to Lahore Qalandars management and offered to pay all the money he was paid under the contract.

“I felt very disappointed, so I went to them, but then they expressed their full confidence and that helped me get a solid return in the tournament,” he said.

Now, a regular part of the national team, Shaheen Afridi, has shown that he is capable of achieving great things for the country.

So far, he has acquired nine windows in three test games, 19 windows in 10 ODI, and has 11 scales in only 7 T20.
