Steve Smith excluded from Multan Sultan in PSL 2019: According to the Cricket Australia website, Smith received an elbow injury during the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
Former Australian captain, Steve Smith, is excluded from the fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for an elbow injury, Cricket Australia reported on Saturday.
The injury means he will throw away the rest of the BPL games and probably also the PSL, which will start next month.
He will repair a ligament in his right elbow on Tuesday. The middle order is expected to remain on the right for at least six weeks. An extensive rehabilitation process will follow, it has been reported
It will be a huge blow to the Australian cricket player, as well as his PSL franchise, Multan Sultans, who is on his platinum selection race.
Smith will be disappointed with the injury, as he is only three months away from the end of a year-long ban on ball handling.
And with the current batting problems of the Australian team in sight, he and David Warner are expected to join the team immediately.
