Supreme Court Ordered NAB to Decide NICL Corruption case in 10 days: The Supreme court of Pakistan ordered the accountability courts to give the decision about National Insurance Corporation Limited NICL the Land Project within 10 days.

The former Chairman of NICL, Ayaz Khan Niazi, Mohsin Habib Warraich, and then the Commerce  Minister (Late) Makhdoom Amin Fahim, and several others were accused of a case of mega corruption and in the purchase of official lands.

The Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar led the special three-member bank on Thursday in the Lahore registry. The court directed the courts of responsibility of Lahore and Karachi to decide the four references in the case within next 10 days.

The court also ordered the arrest of Mohsin Habib Warraich, the main defendant in the scandal, and brought him before the court.  The further high court also summoned the records of all pending cases in the accountability courts of Karachi and Lahore.

During the hearing, the Supreme Court shows displeasure at the lack of progress in the corruption case of NICL, Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar it seems that the NAB is not interested in ending the case, which will not allow delaying the case.

Ayaz Khan Niazi, former president of NICL, was arrested earlier in this month by order of the Supreme Court.
