One of the biggest obstacles to all franchises Pakistan Super League (PSL) is to convince their foreign players to travel to Pakistan for parties.
Last year, Quetta Gladiator hit a devastating blow to their top players like Kevin Pietersen and Shane Watson, they refused to travel to Pakistan to play against the Vangers.
He also said the PSL remains optimistic for 2019 and states that the arrival of other prominent stars like AB de Villiers will help convince people like Shane Watson to come to Pakistan.
Watson will follow De Villiers and arrive in Pakistan and the gladiators of Quetta will have hope.
“When you see players like Shane AB and other big players visiting Pakistan, it would be easy to convince him to make a positive decision on Pakistan’s visit”
This, in combination with the shallow depth of the squadron, resulted in Quetta Gladiator’s main stage exit. Of whom the owner of Nadeem Omar said:
“If your main players aren’t here, it’s very difficult to win the final. The newcomers were not classified as they arrived just hours before the final. It was a great disappointment to us. We had the chance to win two gold titles, we could have won if we had all our strength available”
Omar also mentioned that Quetta had learned of his mistake and did not rely too much on foreign players for PSL 2019.
